Following the 26 November 2018 Science Book Forum “Landing on Planets Series: Landing on Mars – the Insight Mission,” several local students were inspired to choose the topic of comets for a research competition in which they participated. The students then had the opportunity to discuss their project with the Science Book Forum Team at the Library. Participants in the forum took advantage of a rare opportunity to watch live streaming at the Library of the InSight Mission landing on Mars from NASA Mission Operation. The monthly Science Book Forum features opportunities for students to meet with participating scientists in small sessions to learn more about the subjects discussed.
