Aerial Photography Collection
This archive contains more than 9,000 historical aerial photos of Qatar and some of its neighboring countries, taken by British or US military airplanes. The collection includes high resolution images from 55 flights taken between 1944 and 1983, with individual houses and neighborhoods visible.
Currently, the photos are available through Google Earth to the Library members only. Click here to view the browsing instructions.
