In the second monthly meeting of the English Fiction Book Club, we will discuss Secret Daughter, by Shilpi Somaya Gowda. In her debut novel, Gowda tells the story of an Indian mother who gives her daughter up for adoption, the American woman who adopts her and the child who connects them. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk.
