Let’s grow our words from roots to leaves in our two-part Poet-Tree writing workshop. Children ages 8 to 12 will learn to write two different types of poems on a common theme. No previous poetry writing experience is required.

Las Cumbres Observatory is a unique network of robotic telescopes used for scientific and educational projects by thousands of people around the world. In this workshop, we will talk about some of the scientific discoveries that have come from the observatory, including the detection of the first-ever kilonova astronomical event.

The Children’s Library is happy to collaborate with our partners at Little Thinking Minds to provide an introductory session about the I Read Arabic platform, which helps develop children's love of reading by presenting learning materials in a fun and entertaining manner and instilling the love of the Arabic language, thereby fostering their identity.
