On this study day, held as part of the Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture celebrations, we will provide an in-depth exploration of the historical development of ancient Moroccan libraries, tracing their founding and evolution to their current state. These libraries have experienced periods of flourishing and openness to external influences, which contributed to the development of scholars, elites, and societies. However, they have also faced challenges, crises, and disasters that led to a loss of prestige and vitality, often due to human actions.

In an era where trust in science and information is more crucial than ever, reproducibility and replicability are the backbone of credible research. But what happens when studies can’t be reproduced, and how does this fuel the growing wave of misinformation and disinformation?

Join us for the Our Children Matter series of lectures that focus on topics in the field of childhood, education, and children's health.In this session we host Ghaya Salah, a family counselor for childhood and a certified practitioner for gifted care, who will discuss the most important knowledge and skills necessary for young, gifted children, and how to identify and support them through activities that promote early childhood development. She will also review models from her book, Guide to Developing Skills for Gifted Children.
