Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday in the Main Plaza from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Light is an indispensable element in every place where works of art are shown, and at the same time can be a significant threat to their durability. For proper protection of works of art and heritage objects from light-induced degradation, it is necessary to understand its mechanisms and the role of all factors that affect it.

Documentation, dissemination, analysis — modern imaging methods can fulfill many tasks in libraries, archives and museums. This workshop will introduce participants to the techniques of analytic light imaging, multispectral imaging and reflectance transformation imaging.
