The Book Club for the Blind is a project that provides social opportunities and promotes  equal access to the resources and services of the library. The idea behind its creation is to share common reading interests  and to experience the natural connection between reading and communication in the most unique ways to encourage, motivate and share the significant aspects of books and reading.

Qatar National Library (QNL) invites library professionals in Qatar to join this panel discussion and explore some of the throwaway statements made in relation to libraries, to comment on the truth of these statements from the point of view of their own experience, and discuss how we can move beyond them to future-proof the national library.
