We are pleased to invite you to our exhibition "Letters of Faith: The Arabic Script in Indonesia" in the occasion of the Qatar- Indonesia Year of Culture 2023. The exhibition showcases Qatar National Library’s collection and those of prestigious Indonesian and local cultural institutions. 

As part of Qatar Reads' "One Book, One Doha" campaign, Qatar National Library has unveiled a new exhibition which delves into the captivating story of Hayy Bin Yaqdhan, and how he grew up alone on a deserted island.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dipomatic relations between Georgia and the State of Qatar, the Library will host a panel exhibition in collaboration with the Georgian Embassy regarding the history of Arabic manuscripts in Georgia. The exhibition will highlight the Arab manuscript collection preserved in the Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts. 

Horses have always occupied a prominent place in the culture of the Arabs, and this interest increased after the advent of Islam, as horses were mentioned several times in the Noble Qur'an and hadiths.

To highlight and celebrate the Qatar-MENASA Year of Culture 2022, Qatar National Library, in partnership with Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, has organized an exhibition providing a window into the life and work of Baya Mahieddine. 

The Library is celebrating the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™,  the first time that the world’s biggest football tournament is being held in the Middle East and the Arab world.

Qatar National Library, in collaboration with Hamad Bin Khalifa University and as part of Qatar-MENASA 2022, is organizing an art exhibition of children's works (Reesha) under the slogan (We welcome the world to Qatar 2022™), with the aim of introducing the efforts of the State of Qatar in preparing for the World Cup through the stadiums it created to host this important global event, and to help children connect and keep pace with contemporary events using the arts and by consolidating the means of creative and cultural development.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Qatar, the French Embassy in Qatar is organizing an exhibition showcasing an exclusive selection of photographs.

Arab American society is vibrant and diverse, and has positively impacted American society. Arab American contributions can be seen in all levels of government, economy, culture and literature. The history of Arab immigration to the US can be classified into three distinct waves from the late 19th century to now. Each wave has its causes and impacts on Arab immigrants and American society.
