Tasneem Dari is a graduate of the Department of Sociology at Qatar University, and speaks three languages, Arabic, English, and Persian. She currently works as a children’s librarian and library coordinator at the Museum of Islamic Art Library, where her work responsibilities include cataloging and collection maintenance, and running different children’s activities.
Tasneem was honored to have the chance of working with Afghan refugees for one year in two locations, Park View Villa compound and the US military base. While working there she provided the children with sessions on story-time and singing, learning to count and alphabet workshops, all in Persian. She is also a member of IFLA's Art Libraries Section.
