In this section, QNL provides its registered users free access to online resources that cover a wide range of subject areas that cater to the information needs and diverse interests of users from all age groups. Through these online resources, you can download e-books, academic papers, audiobooks, newspaper articles, magazines, or stream music and videos.

All Qatari citizens and residents of Qatar are eligible to register at Qatar National Library. If you are not a member yet, please register now. You will be required to provide a copy of your Qatar National ID or Residency Permit.

This award-winning app offers a new experience for reading digital books such as comics, magazines and bedtime stories in English and Arabic, selected from the world’s best publishers. Stories are presented with interactive and entertaining read-along audio and music. Parents and teachers can add their narration and sound effects to create a truly personal library that you can take with you wherever you go.
Follow these steps to be able to use or download Booki:
- Go to https://www.booki.life/qnl. Enter your email and password, then click ‘Create Account.’
- Click ‘Launch the Booki Web App’ button and log in with your account credentials (created in step 1) to use the web browser application, OR, download the “Booki” app on your device from Google Play or App Store, and then open the app and click ‘Login’ and use your account credentials (created in step 1).
- Agree to the license agreement (required for the first time login only).
- Go to ‘My Books’ on the left menu and download any book you want by clicking ‘Download’ under each book.
- Once the download is complete, click on the ‘Read’ button to load it.
Britannica School is an online learning resource for students from elementary to high school. Supporting curriculum objectives and student research, this interactive tool provides articles from encyclopedias, images and videos, lessons and activities, as well as many other valuable information sources.
For primary through secondary school age children, eLibrary contains images, videos, ebooks and full-text articles from a variety of magazines and journals.
EBSCO Middle Search Plus provides full-text access to popular middle school magazines, biographies, historical essays, primary source documents, and image collections of photos, maps and flags. All full-text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator.
This database allows you to search English titles for children up to 18 years old based on their preferences across different topics. You can find information about titles, read reviews and see lists of recommended books. A great place to find your next title to read.
OverDrive provides popular ebooks for most devices, including PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and Nook.
RBdigital is an English-only digital audiobook database that allows users to download audiobooks to any iPod, iPhone, iPad or computer running a Windows or iOs operating system. The collection of approximately 6,100 items includes genres such as popular general fiction, literary fiction, science fiction, classic fiction, mystery, biography and creative non-fiction.
After you sign in to your Qatar National Library account, you will be redirected to the RBdigital website. The first time you arrive on the site, you will need to create an account. RBdigital Magazines provides access to popular full-color digital magazines, including both new and backlist titles, with no holds or checkout period limitations. Check out titles instantly using your desktop or mobile using the RBdigital App.
To be able to download any titles, you need to create an account or register. Once registered, you need to log in once before checking out or downloading any titles. Find titles by selecting the cover or clicking the search icon. In addition to permanent checkout of titles, you can build a digital backlist for browsing and reading anytime. SIRS Discoverer is a general reference resource for beginning learners and researchers. It is aimed at helping students in the primary and preparatory grades with research, writing and language skills.
SIRS Issues Researcher is a general reference database containing thousands of full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, business, economic, political and global issues. Articles and graphics are selected from more than 1,600 international publications.
