The aim of this group is to offer post-graduate students a supportive environment to meet and collaborate. The sessions focus on giving and receiving feedback at any stage of the academic writing process, from brainstorming and planning to writing and revising. Additionally, there will be time dedicated to writing and opportunities to connect with other post-graduate students and researchers in Qatar. Each session will be unique, and attendance at all sessions is not required. Join us and get writing!

Qatar Reads is hosting a panel discussion on Men in the Sun, by the renowned Palistinian author Ghassan Kanafani. The novella is the chosen book for Qatar Reads' annual One Book, One Doha campaign.

Join us for this course to learn about library resources for people with reading difficulties that are available to library members. We will explore a wide range of different online resources and learn how to use them online.

The Library, in cooperation with the State Audit Bureau, presents an insight into the role of the State Audit Bureau as an independent oversight body over public funds, state funds and the funds of all entities subject to its control, in order to combat corruption.

This presentation will explore the concepts of digital addiction and digital wellbeing, elucidating how these phenomena manifest and whether they can co-occur in individuals. It will examine if similar symptoms, personal factors, and behaviors can predict both conditions. Additionally, the discussion will extend to the influence of artificial intelligence on digital wellbeing. 

The Creative Writing Circle is an opportunity for writers to come together and share their work. The group will provide inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing!
