This compilation of real-life experiences from those with brothers and sisters with special needs has honest reflections of children's feelings of love, frustration, joy and sadness. This month in the English Fiction Book Club, we will discuss In the Time of the Butterflies, by Julia Alvarez. This historical novel tells of the Mirabal sisters, who risked their lives to resist the Trujillo regime in the Dominican Republic. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk.
