The Creative Writing Circle is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work. The group will provide inspiration, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. So whatever stage you’re at, come along and get writing! Sessions will be held between 9 – 11 AM on Tuesdays.

The Fitr Eid (Breakfast Eid) is the most festive time for all Muslims after the end of Ramadan. It is an ideal opportunity for enhancing family relations, holding extended or small family meetings inside the big family house, and a wonderful time for children to go outdoors and collect Eidia (money gifts) from elder family members. Join us with designer and artist Samar Muthana Said Let's design and make funny envelops to collect as much Eidias as possible. Eid Mubarak!

Are you up for a word challenge? Every Thursday and Saturday during the Holy Month, test yourself and your friends to a word search related to various aspects of Ramadan.

This workshop will introduce the Oculus Rift VR System and its many educational features. The Oculus can be used for many different applications, such as virtual tours, educational games, films and more.

Ten Tiny Toes teaches toddlers about the parts of their body through colorful illustrations and funny rhymes. Join us as we read this entertaining book and then paint together.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Each Wednesday during Ramadan, we will explore stories of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his companions. Come hear the history of early Muslims and discuss your thoughts with the group.

Garangao marks the midpoint of Ramadan, and is an occasion for celebration across Qatar. Come to the Library in your traditional Qatari dress, sing Garangao songs and create cultural arts and crafts.
