In this lecture and visual presentation, we will explore the history of the written Qur’an from the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) up to the print and digital eras. We will discuss issues of the Qur'anic text transmission and Qur'anic writing systems and techniques, including Rasm (orthography), vocalization, scripts, marks and colors.
