Content creation in both 3D printing and extended reality relies heavily on 3D digital models of objects or environments. Dorothy C. Ogdon, Head of Emerging Technology and System Development at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Libraries, will provide an overview of methods for creating 3D digital models and will introduce approaches to using 3D digital models in a web browser and on mobile devices.
