About the Conference
The State of Qatar, represented by Qatar National Library, is honored to host the 36th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) under the theme of “Digital Justice and Arab Information Institutions: Strengthening Partnership, Sustainability, and Digital Transformation.”
The conference will be held from 23 to 25 November 2025, bringing together a wide range of professionals, academics, and technology companies from across the Arab region and the world.
The organizing committee is pleased to announce the opening of registration and to provide essential logistical information for all those wishing to attend and participate.
Registration
In continuation of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information’s efforts, and in collaboration with Qatar National Library, conference registration will be managed electronically via the specialized company (MICEtribe), which provides an integrated registration platform before and during the conference.
Participants will receive their access badges through this system upon paying the registration fee of USD 50, and the AFLI membership fee of USD 30, directly through the platform before or during the conference. Early registration is highly encouraged.
Notes:
- Participants presenting research papers are exempt from the registration fee and are required to pay the membership fee only.
- Registration and membership fees are non-refundable in case of non-attendance.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to close registration once capacity is reached.

Conference Objectives
The conference aims to encourage Arab researchers to present in-depth studies showcasing regional experiences in achieving digital justice. It will also explore the digital divide related to language and culture, offering a comprehensive analysis of its challenges and opportunities. These studies will help assess current efforts across the Arab world and provide actionable recommendations to enhance Arabic digital content, promote digital justice, and support the development of AI applications that meet the evolving needs of Arab societies.
In an era where information drives growth and innovation, the conference will explore how digital justice supports digital transformation, strengthens digital citizenship and fosters open science.
Through this platform, we aim to:
- Present in-depth research highlighting successful Arab experiences in digital justice.
- Examine the linguistic and cultural digital divide and explore practical solutions.
- Enhance the presence of Arabic digital content and develop strategies to advance AI applications aligned with the needs of Arab communities.

AFLI invites researchers and professionals to submit scientific papers and participate in discussions that will enrich knowledge-sharing and contribute to recommendations supporting digital justice across the Arab world.
