Qatar National Library (QNL) will participate in the Quadrennial Congress of the International Council on Archives, which will take place in Seoul, South Korea on the 5th – 10th September, 2016.
The conference theme "Archives, Harmony and Friendship" covers: the changing nature of recordkeeping in the digital age; opportunities for cooperation within and outside the archival milieu; the uses and role of archives in the support of truth, justice and reconciliation; and opportunities for harmony and friendship in archival endeavors.
The International Council on Archives is an international non-governmental organization which exists to promote international cooperation for archives and archivists.It grouped together about 1400 institutional members in 199 countries and territories.
