Qatar National Library Participates in AFLI Conference 2015

Qatar National Library (QNL), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), participated in the 26th Annual Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) Conference 2015, which was held in Amman, Jordan from November 2 to 4, 2015.

The conference brought together approximately 450 participants from across the Arab world to endorse the field of librarianship and information science.

AFLI Conference 2015 presented yet another opportunity for QNL to showcase its array of impressive initiatives and services to audience from around the Arab World. At the conference, QNL had the chance to share its experience with other library and information experts and industry partners in the region.  

 
 

Through this Conference, QNL was also able to further expand its cooperative relationships with major libraries and publishing houses from all over the Arab World and learn about the recent trends in the region’s publishing industry.

AFLI, an independent, non-governmental organisation founded in 1986 in Tunisia, is the largest professional body representing the interests of library and information services in the Arab World.
