Qatar National Library (QNL), a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), participated in Frankfurt Book Fair, one of the largest book fairs in the world, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from October 14 - 18.
The Frankfurt Book Fair presented yet another opportunity for QNL to showcase its array of impressive initiatives and services to an international audience. At the Fair, QNL had the chance to share its experience with other international industry partners.
Through the exhibition QNL was also able to further expand its cooperative relationships with major libraries and publishing houses from all over the world and learnt about the recent trends in the worldwide publishing industry.
Attended annually by publishers, bookstores’ agents, filmmakers and authors, the Frankfurt Book Fair is a major international forum for experts from the global printing and publishing industry and presents a considerable market for books, media, publication, and copyright.
