In this workshop, programmer Sultan Al-Bader, a high school student at Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School, will give us an overview of the basics of Java programming. We will also learn about the applications of this programming language in our daily life and its examples, such as apps, websites and more. After attending this workshop, you will be able to build your first basic Java application.

We are pleased to host Heriberto Tapia, one of the lead authors of the latest Human Development Report, to discuss the Human Development Report 2020. This event is in partnership with AYCM Qatar, the UN Development Programme and the Swedish Embassy in Qatar.
