In the Inspiring Individuals series of events, you'll meet individuals who have distinguished themselves in the Qatari society and hear their inspiring and stimulating stories. In this session, we will get to know Muneera Al – Kubaisi, founder and CEO of Good Life Market, who is passionate about introducing new approaches to healthy living.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. Quiz Mania is a knowledge competition for high school students. The show has an established Asian chapter and is looking to involve more students from different countries, including Qatar. The theme of this year's Quiz Mania is "Connecting Youth Globally". Join us to see the 40 candidates from Qatar compete with each other at the Library!

In this event, children will enjoy learning different canvas painting techniques, such as dot painting and making silhouette shapes from nature, as they create art featuring their favorite animals, birds or bugs.

Use colored sand to create beautiful textured art pieces. This is a great opportunity for children to explore their creative side in a fun environment.

Every Monday during July, join us in the Children's Library to enjoy stories about our animal friends.

Study Plus, in collaboration with GoCode and MagiKats, offers this workshop that enables young adults to develop their coding, programming and learning strategies through hands-on activities. Join us and start coding!

Bookshare is an online database for people with print disabilities. It provides audiobooks, read-along books, DAISY talking books, and braille and large-font books. You can customize your reading experience with ebooks in formats that work according to your needs. This event will help you find resources on Bookshare; the latter part of the program will teach you how to register for membership.

Can you imagine using the titles of your favorite books to write a poem? Come express your creativity and love of reading in this unique poetry workshop.

You and your child are invited to our sensory camp for children who experience sensory processing dysfunction or have difficulties in the area of sensory processing and motor coordination. We also welcome children ages 0 – 3 to help with their sensory development.
