His excellency will discuss the vision of the founder of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, and his legacy that enabled Qatar’s move to its modern economic strength.

Our Children and Books

Qatar National Library, in cooperation with the Steering Committee of the Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding, will host a panel discussion titled 'Translation: A Message of Peace, a Bridge of Communication.' Instructors and translators from Qatar University and Al Jazeera Centre for Studies will talk about how translation can increase understanding between countries and cultures, bringing about a more peaceful world.
