The lecture will discuss the importance of social marketing for libraries and how it reflects the cognitive development of communities, the difference between social marketing and commercial marketing, and how to develop a social marketing plan for libraries.

3D printing technology is already changing the way we produce objects, from tools and toys to clothing and even maching parts. 3D printing technologies are playing a key role in creating new businesses and new business opportunities. Qatar National Library will be hosting its first 3D Challenge to allow students to step beyond the virtual barriers and interact with real-world objects, and to create simple and complex designs using 3D modeling software.

This workshop will introduce Google Docs, the package of free Google Apps that share incredible collaborating platform. Apps that will be covered are (Google Documents, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms and Google Keep)

This new concert series features aspiring musicians from the Qatar Music Academy performing at QNL. The programs vary in lineup and styles presenting both Arab and Western music. The upcoming concert in May will feature students in the Arab and Western Music Departments.
