Are you a new Library member or just haven’t visited us in a while?

In collaboration of Qatar-MENASA 2022, the Library invites children from 7 to 14 years old to attend this storytime event where they can enjoy some wonderful Qatari tales and stories.

This workshop will offer demonstrations that aim to support and upskill students, parents, teachers, and allied professionals in the use of assistive technology that's available at the Library and with Mada.

This session will introduce you to readily-available online tools enabling you to maximize your influence on the research community.

Did you know that chess improves memory and problem-solving skills, and raises IQ? It is a wonderful way to improve focus and flex those creative muscles and, most importantly, kids have fun playing the game.

Does your child enjoy reading to others? Do they enjoy retelling events in dramatic voices and making expressions with their faces?

In this workshop, researchers will learn how to code and analyze qualitative research using MAXQDA, a software program designed for analysis in academic, scientific and business institutions.

This session aims to introduce students to JASP, a free and open-source program for statistical analysis. Students will explore this statistical tool and learn how to perform basic data analysis.

What is codicology and manuscript studies? Which subjects are most studied in the field? What are the latest developments in studying Islamic manuscript culture? What are the current resources and research literature?These and many other questions about Islamic manuscript culture are at the heart of a lecture series organized jointly by the Library and the Center for Manuscript Studies at Fatih Sultan Mehmed Waqf University in Istanbul, bringing together renowned international experts in Islamic codicology and manuscript studies to hold monthly talks and address scholars and the general public alike.
