To celebrate the Qatar-US Year of Culture 2021, the Heritage Library will host the exhibition “Far from Home: Arab Immigrants in the US: Pursuing the American Dream,” which will focus on the history of Arab immigration to the United States. In conjunction with the exhibition, this webinar will provide an interesting discussion on works by Arab American writers and those addressing Arab American themes. We are excited to host two writers who won the Arab American Book Award in 2021, which is presented annually by the Arab American National Museum. Does your child enjoy reading to others? Do they enjoy retelling events in dramatic voices and making expressions with their faces? In the Little Storyteller program, your child will get the chance to learn how to read a story expressively firsthand from a professional storyteller. Children are encouraged to bring the book they wish to practice with and dress accordingly.
