Randolf Mariano is a doctoral research fellow at the Department of Language, Culture, Media, and Documentation Science at the University of Tromsø (UiT), the Arctic University of Norway. He is part of the research group called LAMCOM - Libraries, Archives, and Museums in the Community, where he is focused on studying the essential role of knowledge, cultural and innovation diplomacy towards LAMs' learning environments in providing educational, economic, and social opportunities to the public.
He also worked as a research and digital engagement librarian at the US Department of State’s American Spaces and the Republic of Korea's Korean Cultural Center.
