What could be better than spending summertime with stories and science? This July, we have a lineup of special summer stories that are sure to brighten your child's day. To make things even more fun, we'll be doing a science activity to go along with the story to give the kiddos a fun and engaging learning experience, too. It'll be a blast, and we're sure you'll want to join in as well.

In this online workshop via Microsoft Teams, part of our Young Adults' Virtual Summer Camp, participants will learn how to design and create their own websites, which can be used for school or for fun. 

Join our Virtual Knitting and Crochet Meetup to share experiences, information and more. Everyone is welcome, including beginners and those who want to learn. Grab your yarn and needles and let’s chat! 

Join us for our virtual English Fiction Book Club meeting. We will discuss Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, by Jamie Ford. To borrow the title electronically visit this link to the book on our OverDrive database and choose the option “borrow”; from there you will need to log in using your Library membership number and PIN. 

Did you know that chess improves memory, problem-solving and IQ? It's also a wonderful way to improve focus, flex those creativity muscles, and most importantly, kids have fun playing.

To plant a seed and grow the love of reading in your child, encourage them to join the three-session Najem Es’hail Book Club this June. We will have one session per week, and we will discuss one book per session. These sessions are both educational and fun for children, and we encourage your child to attend all three sessions to reap the maximum benefits.

Join us for Online Storytime for Children every week. We will read stories and make up our own together. The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

Looking for some summertime adventure for your child? Join us for a fun and exciting virtual storytime in English every Sunday. Kids with unique abilities are welcome! 

We invite you to attend this workshop with Fatima Al-Mohannadi, a student in eighth grade, who will talk about autism and how to raise awareness in the community. Fatima is the young student who initiated the "You’re Not Alone" project, which aims to educate people on how to deal with and live with autism.
