Join the English Fiction Book Club for a virtual book discussion of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, by Betty Smith. The classic novel is a coming-of-age story about a young girl in New York in the early 20th century. The event will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

This workshop, organized in cooperation with the Legal Awareness Unit at the Legal and Judicial Studies Center of the Ministry of Justice, will teach boys about cyber-extortion, a crime under the Qatar Cyber Crime Prevention Law. Participants will also learn about the concept of extortion, the ways we can avoid falling into its trap and the penalties imposed by the legal system.

In this workshop, our librarian will guide you through how to organize your resources using Zotero. Zotero is a tool that will help you collect, manage and cite your references. Using Zotero, you can attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations. It will also organize your resources into collections for different projects and create bibliographies. You'll learn all that and more in this program.
