This workshop will introduce you to some of the basic techniques and concepts of 3D modeling and its software. You will learn how to create 3D models using specialized software and how to prepare the files for 3D printing.

Interested in exploring the oud? The Library is partnering with the Qatar Music Academy (QMA) for a series of workshops on three different Arabic instruments in January and February. In this first session, a professional teacher from QMA will introduce you to the oud, the classic Arab stringed instrument. You will get to hold and play the instrument and learn about its strings, parts and sound production. No previous knowledge is required, and the instruments will be provided.
