The World Through Picture Books is a collection of the best children's books from around the world, selected by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). Qatar National Library is proud to partner with IFLA in organizing this exhibition, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East and celebrates the importance of children's books in the development of children’s early learning skills, knowledge of their cultural and linguistic identity, and understanding of ideas and diversity.

Join us for three hours of creative fun with Lego bricks! In this team-building activity organized by the Library, groups of five to seven participants must work together to build an architectural structure. We provide the Lego bricks— you provide the imagination!

Bring your child and join us in this fun-filled activity. Your child will learn how they explore and interact with the world around them through their five senses. They'll identify their senses through songs and hands-on activities, as well as multisensory activities for children with learning difficulties.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning.
