The Orchestra of the Filipino Youth, a group of young music scholars from the Philippines, performs classical music favorites under the baton of conductor Joshua Dos Santos.

In this introductory workshop, you will learn how to design interactive presentations using the online platform Prezi. We will cover effective presentation design elements and navigation within the platform.

Moms, bring your children (ages 1 – 5) to this interactive session where you can make baby shark headbands. These cute headbands can be used for games, pretend play or as part of costumes.

In this event for people with disabilities and their families and caretakers, we will demonstrate the wide range of accessibility apps. These are available on a wide range of devices and operating systems, and are designed to help people with a variety of disabilities.

Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 am to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. As part of International Open Access Week, we will screen the film Paywall: The Business of Scholarship. This documentary focuses on the need for open access to research and science, questions the rationale behind the $25.2 billion a year that flows into for-profit academic publishers, examines the 35-40% profit margin associated with the top academic publisher Elsevier, and looks at how that profit margin is often greater than some of the most profitable tech companies.
