Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 am to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or to borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. In the second monthly meeting of the English Fiction Book Club, we will discuss Secret Daughter, by Shilpi Somaya Gowda. In her debut novel, Gowda tells the story of an Indian mother who gives her daughter up for adoption, the American woman who adopts her and the child who connects them. Copies of the book will be available at the User Services Desk.

The Parent/Family Involvement Day celebrates the contributions that parents and families make to supporting children.
