Join us for 'Mommy to Be: The Speaker Series,' presented by a group of experts and specialists on crucial topics in motherhood, childhood, and health. In this online session, we will be hosting Rawan Hassanein, the first Arab birth massage coach certified by the International Neonatal Massage Organization. She will introduce techniques to help mothers understand the reasons behind a baby's crying and how to soothe them through massage techniques.

This workshop provides postgraduate researchers with essential insights into crafting effective book proposals for academic publishing. Through interactive sessions, participants will explore the key components of a successful proposal, including framing the book's significance, identifying target audiences, outlining chapters, and writing persuasive abstracts. Practical exercises and peer feedback will enhance participants' proposal-writing skills, equipping them to navigate the competitive landscape of academic publishing.

The aim of this group is to provide an opportunity for post-graduate students to meet in a supportive environment. The sessions focus on participants giving and receiving feedback at any stage of the academic writing process, from brainstorming and planning your project, through to writing and revising, as well as some time to do some writing, and a chance to connect with other post-graduate students and people doing research in Qatar. Each session will be different and you do not have to attend them all. Come along and get writing!
