To mark Qatar National Day, our first guest for this episode is the diver Mohamed Al-Sada. He will take us on a journey into the world of diving and pearls in the Gulf, where we will explore the history and culture of pearls in the region.

In this session, librarians will learn how they can support their organization’s staff. They will learn how to understand their needs, how to continuously reach out to them, and how to provide appropriate support related to their fields and interests. We will also help them explore QNL's open-access resources and brief them on how to become a member, so they can use other the resources we provide.

Join us for an illuminating session with Mr. Ali Al Qawasmi, Head of Training and Development at the Youth Association for Jerusalem in Qatar. Mr. Al Qawasmi will unravel the intricacies of Jerusalem, providing invaluable insights into its history, geography, and social fabric both before and after the Israeli occupation. 

If your children enjoy creative writing, we invite them to take part in this creative writing workshop presented by Qatar National Library.

Join us for a screening of the documentary “Abbas 36” in collaboration with Al Jazeera Documentary. This documentary follows the story of two Palestinian families who lived in the same home on 36 Abbas Street in Haifa, and it documents the families’ personal and public experiences and their dream of return, and the meaning and shape of return and belonging.
