- Significant works that present the history or the social, economic and political life of Qatar and the GCC.
- Material produced by Qatari authors or written about Qatar.
- History of the MENA region.
- Material written by MENA authors.
How to make a donation
We welcome offers of collection material. If you want to offer an item or object to the Library, you need to follow the steps below.
Kindly note that we cannot accept donations on the spot or in person. We need to assess items before we accept them into the collection. This is because we need to examine and consider an offer and make sure it fits in with our Collection Development Policy. Therefore, Kindly refrain from sending or bringing items directly to the Library.
Step 1: Check if we already have the title by searching our online catalog.
Step 2: Fill out the donation form and provide as many details as possible:
- Author
- Title
- ISBN
- Publisher
- Date of Publication
- Language
Step 3: If we accept your donation, we will give you instructions on how to prepare your item(s) for delivery to QNL.
Important note: Due to the high volume of donation offers, we are unable to let you know whether your offer has been declined. However, your generosity in offering a donation is greatly appreciated.
