Join us for storytime at Qatar National Library. We will read stories and make up our own together.

You are invited to this session to learn about the novel Smedra, A Girl's Struggle and the literary experience of its author, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Kuwari, the former Minister of Health. In the novel he mixes reality and fiction and addresses a number of social, political, intellectual and human rights issues. After the session, you can get your copy of the book signed by the author, His Excellency Dr. Al-Kuwari.

In collaboration with the French Institute in Qatar and Doha Film Institute (DFI), Slimane Zeghidour will deliver a lecture at Qatar National Library to discuss the evolution of the image of Arabs in Western cinema and press.

In cooperation with the Theater Affairs Center, the Library will offer theatrical sessions for children aged 7 to 12.
