This program offers a review of the history of the Palestinian keffiyeh and how this headscarf turned into a symbol of resistance. Learn about how the keffiyeh is worn today and its importance as a symbol of the Palestinian cause. The program will be presented by Dr. Yehia Zakaria Al-Agha, ambassador for cultural and educational affairs at the Palestinian Embassy and Vice-Chairman of the Palestinian Schools Board. He has many literary publications, including illuminations in contemporary Palestinian poetry in two parts and many literary and political articles.
