Does your child enjoy reading to others? Do they enjoy retelling events in dramatic voices and making expressions with their faces? In the "Little Storytellers" program, your child will get the chance to learn how to read a story expressively firsthand by a professional storyteller. Children are encouraged to bring the book they wish to practice with and dress accordingly.

In our Parenting Book Club, we discuss several important and current topics on parenting and upbringing. In this session, we will be discussing the book I Became a Calm Mother, by Dr. Hadeel Yassin Al-Faras.

Are you a breastfeeding mother who is looking for support or an expecting mother who wishes to learn more about breastfeeding?‏You are invited to join us in these monthly sessions provided by certified breastfeeding specialists from the Young Mothers Group.

In collaboration with Qatar Reads under the campaign "One Book, One Doha," join us for A Night with Kalila and Dimna. These fables, with animals as main characters, offer useful wisdom and guidance. We will read the stories together at the Children’s Library and act out scenes from the book, followed by a bookmark-making activity. 

The Qatar Reads “One Book, One Doha” campaign features the book Kalila and Dimnah, a collection of fables with animals as the main protagonists. As part of this special event, we are hosting Mohammed Al Mokhtar Ahmed, the scientific supervisor of a Turaath (heritage) project at Al Jazeera.net, who will shed light on the importance of the book to the history of Islamic culture.
