Celebrate Qatar-MENASA 2022 and learn more about diverse cultures by visiting the MENASA Cultural Fair at Qatar National Library, which aims to highlight the heritage of MENASA countries through different activities.

In this panel discussion, we will discuss the importance of having both experience and an academic degree in the LIS field. The discussion will address global and regional perspectives, and it will highlight opportunities and challenges in the MENA region, which lacks sufficient academic programs in librarianship and related professions.

Content creation in both 3D printing and extended reality relies heavily on 3D digital models of objects or environments. Dorothy C. Ogdon, Head of Emerging Technology and System Development at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Libraries, will provide an overview of methods for creating 3D digital models and will introduce approaches to using 3D digital models in a web browser and on mobile devices.
