Folk tales are passed down from generation to generation due to their captivating storylines and the insights they offer. In collaboration with Qatar Reads under the campaign "One Book, One Doha," join us for A Night with Kalila and Dimna. These fables, with animals as main characters, offer useful wisdom and guidance. We will read the stories together at the Children’s Library and act out scenes from the book, followed by a bookmark-making activity.

The Qatar Reads “One Book, One Doha” campaign features the book Kalila and Dimnah, a collection of fables with animals as the main protagonists. As part of this special event, we are hosting Mohammed Al Mokhtar Ahmed, the scientific supervisor of a Turaath (heritage) project at Al Jazeera.net, who will shed light on the importance of the book to the history of Islamic culture.
