The agreement covers Taylor & Francis Open Select, Open and Cogent journals. In the “Open Select (Optional Gold OA Available)” column kindly choose ONLY:

• "Yes," Or
• "Fully Open"

Eligible article types

The primary article types which are either original papers or review papers that will also be classified as such by third-party abstracting & indexing databases (e.g. Web of Science). In general, these article types will undergo peer review.

Corresponding authors submits article via the standard submission process on Taylor & Francis Online. Using ScholarOne Manuscripts\ the Submission Portal

• Fill in their own information
• In ‘Organization section’ under member, select their ‘Qatari institution that authors belong to’ as a member.
• An automatic email going to be send to the authors to inform them “they may be eligible for OA fund”.
• Taylor & Francis will then verify their eligibility with QNL, and if confirmed, the APC will be paid by the QNL.

We strongly recommend authors use their Qatari Institutional email address. 

Authors should duly acknowledge QNL funding in the published article, using the following standard statement:

Open Access funding provided by the Qatar National Library.
