Instructions for Authors
|
- For subscription/hybrid journals that offer OnlineOpen (open access option)
- Authors will be invited onto “Author Services” after acceptance of the article to complete their open access choice and sign a license for their article.
- Please ensure that your institutional affiliation is correct on the “Affiliations” screen.
- On the “Open Access Options” screen, authors should see their eligibility message in a text box titled “Open Access.” Please select “Keep my article OnlineOpen.”
- Authors should complete all the steps following this screen and submit their funding request for the Library’s review and approval.
- For fully gold open access journals with Wiley:
- During the payment screen of the submission process, authors should choose the option “My institution or funder has an agreement with Wiley and may pay the Article Publication Charge,” using the link provided to the Account Code Tool.
- If the article is accepted by the journal and the funding request is approved by the Library, authors will be invited on to “Author Services” to complete further steps.

Acknowledgment

Authors should duly acknowledge QNL funding in the published article, using the following standard statement:
"The publication of this article was funded by Qatar National Library."
