The Library’s Wikithon this year will focus on editing and enriching Arabic and English pages on Qatari-themed topics including history, nature and more. We invite all enthusiasts to come and join this third edition of Wikithon at the Library.

Historical scripts are one of the most significant forms of evidence for understanding Qatar history. This lecture will highlight personal letters and signatures from famous Qatari historical figures, which reflect the country’s social and economic life. The lecture will also discuss Mus'haf Al Zubara, one of the oldest examples of calligraphic writing that has been found in Qatar.
