Have you ever wondered if there is anything special about the Arabian Gulf waters that surround Qatar? Or whether there is any life in the desert, and if there is, how is it possible to survive the extreme conditions of this climate without air conditioning?

To plant a seed and grow the love of reading in your child, come join us for a three-month book club. We will have one session per month and we will discuss one book per session. These sessions are both educational and fun for children, and we encourage your child to attend all three sessions to reap the maximum benefits. To receive a certificate of attendance, your child must attend all three sessions.

One of our young adults' librarians will be live for one hour to answer any question you have related to our resources, services and Library-related matters. This session is open to all middle and high school students and will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams. 

The session will introduce attendees to Qatar National Library's Open Access Author Fund and describe how authors in Qatar can benefit from the fund to publish in open access journals. The session will also briefly outline the concept of open access and how it can benefit research in Qatar.
