Join this casual gathering of knitters and crocheters every Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM to work on projects and share skills in a friendly atmosphere. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and projects or borrow the Library’s needles and yarn. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners who are interested in learning. This lecture will take us on a journey through the history and types of Arabian horses, which have been an important part of Qatari life for countless generations. Join us to learn more about Arabian horses and how we can take care of them. The lecture will be followed by a trip into Al Shaqab to have a closer look at the beauty of these animals.

Bookshare is an online database for people with print disabilities. It provides audiobooks, read-along books, DAISY talking books, and braille and large-font books. You can customize your reading experience with ebooks in formats that work according to your needs. This event will help you find resources on Bookshare; the latter part of the program will teach you how to register for membership.

Arabic calligraphy has a centuries-long history with deep cultural and religious roots. Enjoy the beauty and charm of Arabic calligraphy and learn this timeless art in our training workshop to continue its great tradition yourself.

This workshop will introduce some of the basic techniques and concepts of 3D modeling and its software. You will learn how to create 3D models using specialized software and how to prepare the files for 3D printing.
